How do I mount my ‘old’ home directory on the CentOS workstations?

On the older Ubuntu workstations, your University N drive was automatically mounted as your home directory. Unfortunately this is not possible (yet) in the new CentOS distro we are using for our newer workstations. A (temporary) workaround is to mount your N drive manually using the GNOME file manager using the instructions found HERE.

Be aware that unlike the N drive, your home directory on the new machines only exists locally and has no backups. So please try to avoid storing any important data there and use the N drive instead.
