Title: Cosmology with the cosmic web
Abstract:
On large scales, the matter distribution of the Universe follows a web-like pattern, consisting of knot (cluster), filament, sheet and void. The cosmic-web is a non-Gaussian field, containing invaluable information about cosmology and astrophysics. I will summarise recent research activities in trying to extract this information, highlight opportunities and challenges for clusters and voids, and show evidence for gas filaments between pairs of galaxies.
