If the idea of “AGN Unification” is correct, then a long outstanding problem and question in QSO demographics is: Where are all the high-z obscured QSOs? Using new results from the completed SDSS-III BOSS Quasar Survey, along with the WISE mid-infrared satellite mission, I’ll report on new work that may have finally answered this problem. Then, tying this to recent results from quasar luminosity function studies, and the ESA Euclid satellite, we can ask in the context of z>7 QSO studies, what’s JWST going to point at?
