Abstarct:

The Lyman-alpha forest in QSO absorption spectra is a sensitive
probe of the matter distribution as well as the physical state of the
Intergalactic Medium. I will present constraints  on the
free-streaming of  dark matter particles and  the thermal and
ionization  history of the Intergalactic Medium.
