Abstract:
For the first time large cosmology surveys are giving us the power to test gravity on cosmic scales. I will talk about some reasons why we might want to test GR on the largest scales and outline some of the theoretical and statistical challenges this throws up for current surveys such as the Dark Energy Survey (DES).
I will present some current constraints on modified theories of gravity and highlight forthcoming tests planned with DES and near future missions.”
