Leïla will first introduce the Democratic Citizenship theme and relate to the need for democracy, equality and justice in science. She will then present on the topic of international law as a colonial enterprise, addressing concepts such as positivism and reason and intellectual property.
Leïla Choukroune is a professor of international law and director of the UoP thematic area in Democratic Citizenship. She is an expert on international economic law and business and human rights issues. Her publications include more than 10 books, including Judging the State in International Trade and Investment Law.
