Title: The PhD doctoral process at the UoP and the ICG
Abstract:
I will be reviewing and answering questions about the various PhD student points of assessment, particularly the major review and annual review, as well as the general expectations for the thesis and the viva process. This is particularly intended for the PhD students, but post-docs are welcome to come to share their recent thesis/viva experiences, and staff can share their perspectives from the assessor’s side.
I will try to focus particularly on the specific expectations for students in the ICG. More general discussion can be found in the Graduate School Development Programme workshops relating to to the doctoral process. You can see the materials by self-enrolling at the Moodle site:
