During this talk you will have a taste of a few different topics: effective field theory of large-scale structure, unequal-time correlators and the SkyPy project. My main goal is to put my name next to these topics so you should feel free to contact me whenever you find any of these buzzwords. I will be happy to have a chat!
After the introduction, I will focus on my most recent work on weak lensing and unequal-time correlators: from Limber (1953) through Peebles (1973), Kaiser (1998) and right up to the most contemporaneous cosmologists, let us walk together this journey about the evolution of the Limber’s approximation and its implications on observational cosmology. We will discover and compare further approaches: from the exact computation of the integrals employing the unequal-time matter power spectrum to alternative approximations such as the well-known geometric approximation or the new mid-point approximation.
