The University recently signed a Premier support agreement with Google UK for longterm access to a range of infrastructure and application development resources known as Google Cloud Platform. The suite includes a variety of Big Data tools including Big Query, Google Cloud Storage and easy access to Hadoop on demand through Compute Engine. This talk will introduce an overview of each of these services and the enhanced support and billing options available through the Premier account.
