Title: Aspects of Emergence of Gravity and Geometry
Abstract:
I will give an introduction to recent ideas to understand geometry as Bose-Einstein condensates of gravitons, as well as to analogue gravity. Concerning the latter, I will elaborate on a model which allows for intrinsic formation of analogue black holes in Bose-Einstein condensates. The former part focusses on aspects of emergent geometry on the quantum level. Applied to black holes and cosmology, I will show how various known characteristics elegantly emerge, and which novel and distinct features are expected.
