Title: Data science for LIGO and for Industry

Abstract: As a DISCnet student, I have the opportunity to experience research in academia and data science in industry. In this talk I will go through my journey from before University to now, detailing all my projects, placements and aspirations as a PhD student. I will also talk about my hopes and dreams for the future, after my PhD.
