Research interests: My research focuses on the methods required to obtain the most robust and precise estimates of the statistics codifying the clustering of galaxies and the scientific knowledge we can gain from such measurements, particularly for dark energy, particle physics (e.g., neutrino mass), and inflation (e.g., primordial non-Gaussianity).
Biography:
I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow. I have worked at the ICG for the past 4+ years, primarily analysying data from SDSS and DES. I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in 2009.
Qualifications: BA, Carleton College, Northfield MN, 2004. Magna Cum Laude with Honors in PhysicsPhD, Astronomy Department, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), Oct. 2009.
Roles and Collaborations: Chair of SDSS-IV eBOSS galaxy and quasar clustering cosmology working group; coordinator of DES 2-pt clustering subgroup
Postgraduate students supervised: Matteo Tellarini Non-Gaussianity in large scale structure
