Oscar Ramos visited ICG from Ecole Polytechnique few months ago, to do his master thesis on a strange theory of dark energy where the photon is driving cosmic acceleration. Back to Paris, he baffled all the local experts, and managed to win a special jury prize for his final essay. Below is an extract from his acknowledgments, showing how much he appreciated his time here. So, thanks to everyone who helped to make his stay so comfortable and productive!
“(Thanks) to all the ICG staff for welcoming me with kindness and generosity, and great experience having there. To Gianmassimo Tasinato, my supervisor in Portsmouth, for the very interesting project, his guiding and all the support he gave me. There are too many PhD students and post-docs that contributed to this work and experience, but special thanks to Matthew Hull, first year PhD student, who taught and discussed with me all the time and was of invaluable help.”
